BANGALORE - BENNARGHATTA - BANGALORE

Full day excursion to Bennarghatta National Park. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 3
BANGALORE – MYSORE

In the morning, after breakfast, proceed by surface to Mysore "Scotland of India". On arrival, set yourself in the hotel, refresh yourself. Afternoon visit Mysore Palace, Chamundi hills, Brindawan Gardens.The musical fountains & colourful lights transform this place into a fairy land. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 04
MYSORE – RANGANATHITTU – MYSORE

Full Day excursion to Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 5
MYSORE – NAGARHOLE

Drive to Nagarhole, situated in south of Mysore. Upon arrival check-in at the Forest Lodge. Overnight at camp.

DAY 6
NAGARHOLE

Take a game viewing jungle ride to the Nagarhole National Park. Overnight at the Forest Lodge.

DAY 7
NAGARHOLE – BANDIPUR

Proceed east of Nagarhole you to reach Bandipur. Arrive and check in into forest lodge. Overnight at forest lodge.

DAY 8
BANDIPUR

Day free for jungle activities. Overnight at forest lodge.

DAY 9
BANDIPUR – OOTY

Morning drive to Ooty and upon arrival check in into hotel. Afternoon visit to Botanical garden, Doddabetta park , and tea plantations. Overnight at hotel.

DAY 10
OOTY

Full Day excursion to Toda Tribal village. Overnight at hotel.

DAY 11
OOTY – KOCHI (COCHIN)

After having your breakfast in the morning drive to Cochin "Queen of the Arabian Sea". On arrival check in into hotel. In the evening see Kathakali Dance show. Overnight at hotel.

DAY 12
KOCHI (COCHIN)

Afternoon sightseeing tour Cochin city visiting the Jewish Synagogue. Built in 1568, the oldest synagogue in the common wealth stands adorned by hundreds of exquisite hand painted Chinese tiles in blue & white. Visit St. Francis Church, originally built out of wood in 1503 and thus earning fame as the oldest European church in India. Dutch Palace. As you climb its stone steps you enter a different world of Palanquins rich murals.

DAY 13
KOCHI (COCHIN) – PERIYAR

Morning, after breakfast proceed by surface to Alleppey Boat Jetty (63 kms). From the jetty take a most fascinating boat cruise on the backwaters of Kerala to Kottayam, where your car will be waiting for you to take you to Periyar. Upon arrival check-in at the hotel. Afternoon game viewing boat cruise on the artificial Periyar Lake.

Periyar Sanctuary was the earliest sanctuary to be set up in 1934. Amongst the animals spotted here are wild elephants, which can be seen and photographed at close quarters, wild boar, sambar, tier, leopard, wild dog and langur monkeys. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 14
PERIYAR

Day for Jungle activities. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 15
PERIYAR - KUMARAKOM

Morning leave by surface to Kumarakom (130-kms/03 hours approx.).

Kumarakom is an unbelievably beautiful paradise of mangrove forests, emerald green paddy fields, and coconut groves interspersed with enchanting waterways and canals adorned with white lilies. Situated on the Vembanad Lake, in this small water world, you will come across plenty of traditional country crafts, boats and canoes. Located on the banks of the Vembanad Lake, is the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary – an ornithologist’s paradise. It is a favorite haunt of migratory birds like the Siberian stork, egret, darter, heron and teal. Other common varieties like woodpecker, skylark, crane, water hen and parrots can also be spotted here.

Sunset Cruise (optional) – there can be few better ways to experience the pace of backwater life than to spend the waning hours of the afternoon just watching the sun go down. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 16
KUMARAKOM

Morning optional boat cruise to the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary. Rest of the day free at leisure.
Overnight at the hotel.

Day 17
KUMARAKOM - COCHIN

In time departure transfer to the Cochin airport to board flight to your next destination.
