The guest rooms and suites in the old palace wing are of princely proportions. Cool, airy, light and high ceilinged, furnished with genuine old palace furniture. The palatial Banquet Room of the Lalitha Mahal is now a gourmet restaurant. Guests lunch and dine under glowing stained glass domes on delicious Indian and Continental cuisine or savor a specialty of the Palace kitchens- the Thali - a large silver platter that brings together in several small bowls the finest array of delicately spiced dishes typical of India's southern region.
